Dr. Vijay Kothari is a microbiologist. His research interests include validation of traditional medicine, AMR (antimicrobial resistance), microbial response to sonic stimulation, etc. He has validated anti-pathogenic potential of different plant extracts against wound-infective bacteria, and has identified molecular targets of the active extracts in susceptible bacterial pathogens. He has around 100 papers/ book chapters/ popular articles, and 2 books to his credit. He is recipient of Sentinel of Science (2016) awarded by Publons, and AIMS (Artificial Intelligence Molecular Screen) award by Atomwise Inc., USA.
