Natalia Andrea Romero is the Founder and CEO of Giideba Salud, a company dedicated to developing innovative solutions for the prevention of pressure ulcers and the improvement of patients’ quality of life. She has over 15 years of professional experience in healthcare innovation, advanced medical textiles, circular economy, and social innovation applied to healthcare systems.
She serves as Entrepreneurship Ambassador of Argentina in Spain on behalf of IDEX.LA, and as Vice President of AFAE, an organization supporting families in the Euskadi. She holds a registered patent for the prevention of pressure ulcers and venous thrombosis, with solutions clinically validated in over 100 patients. Her work has been recognized as Best Technological Project and Best Business Model at the early-stage level.
Her current work focuses on preventive innovation within healthcare systems, early adoption of health technologies, and the development of sustainable healthcare solutions with social impact, integrating inclusive employment and circular economy principles. She is based in Bilbao, Spain, with professional activity across Europe and Latin America.
