Mr.Jibi is a well-experienced infection control lead with over 14 years of experience in the healthcare industry across Saudi Arabia, the UK, UAE, and India. He holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing with extensive training and expertise in infection control, particularly in surgical site infection prevention, hand hygiene strategy management and Antimicrobial stewardship programs and AMR. He is well-versed in collaborating with various stakeholders, implementing infection prevention and control programs, overseeing IC surveillance and healthcare operations, risk assessment and management, policy development, quality improvement, and performance improvement programs and projects. He is also skilled in cost reduction management, staff training and development programs, and leadership. Mr.Jibi has vast experience in teaching and mentoring healthcare
professionals in infection prevention and control, initiating train-the-trainer programs, speaking at international conferences and Panel discussions related to AMR and Infection Control, and writing for CM Today, Clean Middle East, IPC UK and IC Insights Magazines. He has been involved in many performance improvement projects and research activities in the field of infection control. Recently, he achieved great success in WHO innovative training by being among the final 12 training stories worldwide. He has
received many appreciations and recognitions in infection control across Saudi Arabia, India, and the UK, Winner of the IC olympiad 2024 and also the
Patient Safety Champion of 2025 by CPSQ. Currently, been employed as the Infection Control Senior lead at Aster Clinics, Access clinics and NASC Clinics in the UAE & Bahrain from April 2024 onwards. His responsibilities include overseeing nearly 80 Clinics in the UAE & Bahrain. Prior to his current position, held the role of Senior Infection
Control Specialist and Rapid Response team member in MOH, KSA for 12 years. Prior, he served as the Infection Control Lead at Columbia Asia PVT LTD from August 2010 to May 2011. Also worked as HOD/MANAGER of Infection Control at Travancore Medicity in India for 6 months. Resides in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
