Hajnal-Gabriela ILLES received her PhD at the age of 27 from the University of Clermont-Ferrand School of Medicine in France. She is Director of the Chronic Wound Unit at the Clinique des Augustines, Malestroit, France. Her first speciality is Public Health, as second speciality : Infectious Disease Specialist, with years of experience in complex bone and joint infections, with or without prosthesis. She is a member of high professional societies : EBJIS (European Bone and Joint Infections), ESCMID (European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases), ESGIAI (ESCMID Study Group for Implant-Associated Infections) and EWMA (European Wound Management Association).
